Nebraska star Jess Gardner has spent the past year putting collegiate pole vaulting on the map.
Thanks to some inclement weather for the Huskers as it pertains to both the school’s football and basketball programs, Gardner has been able to steal a surprising amount of headlines.

This week it was more than that. In a video that’s now gone viral, Gardner shared her recent outing on the beach. It was an instant hit.
This apparently isn’t the first time in recent months that Gardner has caused an online uproar like this.

Between her provocative hotel room videos and general social media presence, she’s been a permanent fixture in the news cycle.
Also, to top it all off are her pictures – which never fail to impress.
Gardner’s stuff obviously doesn’t do crazy visual numbers like Olivia Dunn’s provocative photos, because apparently no one does quite like the LSU star.
But her content still garners a respectable amount of attention.
Last season Nebraska’s football team went 4-8. The men’s basketball team similarly went 10–22.
From a sporting perspective, there certainly wasn’t much for the fans to get excited about during the 2022-23 season.

In this regard, it should come as no surprise that Gardner was able to carve out such a prominent niche for himself, despite pole vaulting itself not being hugely popular.
It will be interesting to see whether Matt Roull, who will be leading the football team next season, can get some shine.
